(The fact that there was an exercise planned for the same day as the attack factors into several conspiracy theories, though the 9/11 commission dismisses this as coincidence. After plodding through dozens of hours of recordings, so do I.)
Wasn’t this happening during 911 and London? I can see maybe one, but two is fishy, anyone know if it has happended during anymore attacks?
Two is fishy, but I don’t know enough about 7/7 really.
Is it not lame for the author to say that he’s convinced the drills were just a coincidence based on the quantity of information rather than the quality? What conversation within NORAD that day – at the level he’s listening to anyway – could possibly reveal whether or not the drills were scheduled for that day based on secret inside knowlege of the event? I am not asserting that it is anything but coincidence – in fact I’m less suspicious now than I had been – but I think he should have left it at the debunking of the shootdown of Flight 93, rather than taking on the drills (which he described as causing quite a bit of confusion) with nothing.
Also, I wondered about the part at the end where he says all commercial traffic was on the ground by noon, but that they continued chasing planes for hours. What was going on there?
Damn, our rulers and their minions sure have their shit together when it comes to protecting us.
Listening to those tapes makes ya proud to be Mercan (as bushie says).

Ken,
Thanks for the heads up. Interesting how Cheny helped the Pentagon lie about, “oh, yeah, we could have gotten 93″ when they didn’t even know about it until after it crashed.
