you are somehow trying to deconnect the your administration from yourself. It is to serve your big fat cars
and stomach does your government go and pillage other countries. we will not forgot Panama, Gautemela ,vietnam,,japan and countless other countries you and your government have intervened and stolen wealth from. It is mandatory that US have to be defeated and weakend from interfering in other countries and killing innocent people. If you are left unchecked then there is a big problem for our childrens future. Al qaeda is doing the dirty work on our behalf. Sometimes it is excessive but remember the adage “you reap what you sow”.
Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere
What are you a communist? I am responsible for my own behavior, not that of the State I happen to live under the jurisdiction of.
By your logic, the people of Iraq deserve whatever they got since they are all responsible for the crimes of Saddam Hussein.
if al-qaeda and the bush’s cabal WANT the same thing (stay in irak), maybe they ARE the same thing…

Reminds me of Bush’s taunt to “Bring ‘em on.”
The goons insult each other and get away with murder, and the rest of us pay the price. What a deal.
No justice, no peace…
I think Marco has a point that is right on…
Your point at the end – Iraq and the U. S. needing neither – is a point that is right on the mark, also.

How does an arab speaking in arabic who hates democracy know what a “lame duck” is and how could it posibly be so directly translated?
Saddam was never a chosen leader. As Americans you choose your leader and they represent you whereever they go. you have to accept guilt. Even after knowing the bloody history of the Bush – Cheney CABAL you voted and chose them. In my opinion Dem and Rep are the two sides of the same coin. Personally i don’t have anything against american people. Infact i pity your ignorance and indulgence. Just think it from the other side, how we are pained everyday by seeing our people(includes latinos, asians, arabs) day killed by your bombs paid by your tax dollars supported by your lapsided moral compass fed by your media.
Can you feel the anger in my heart. We are waiting to see the day your country goes downhill the way of empires before, poverty and destitution becomes your daily affair and criminals rule over you. This is because you and your governments have always helped criminals rule over us. Don’t worry, We will come to liberate you then.
It is mandatory that US have to be defeated and weakend from interfering in other countries and killing innocent people.
Read the below over and over again and ponder how you have contributed to it.
Injustice anywhere is a threat to Justice everywhere, You reap what you sow.
It seems people want to run and that’s why the liberals elected the Democrats. It infuriates me that people do not realize we have not had any attacks here. Now we will. Our economy is the best it’s ever been, so the so called rich can filter it down to the working man. But that will change soon too. Remember Jimmy Carter. Gas prices are starting to go up again already, the market is starting to go down. BUt we’ll have our men and women home from Iraq–we bringing them home from Afghanistan too. That poor country will be back in the hands of the Taliban before you know it.
God bless George W. Bush, Mr Chaney, Rummy and Condoleza Rice. We need these people in times of war and yes this is war, but I guess some people just don’t get it.
I would reply to hta.

You are absolutely right, Dem and Rep ARE the two sides of the same coin (… of the same banknote, is more appropriate … in fact there are no more coins – gold and silver – in US by many many many years… but, this is another story…).
But if this is true, then the Americans cannot choose their leaders, no more than the irakis !!!
Indeed someone once said that the the USA are a republic, NOT a democracy.
Today this is ABSOLUTELY TRUE, for the second half of the statement at least…

>>>hta,
>>>here’s the deal:
Saddam was never a chosen leader. As Americans you choose your leader and they represent you whereever they go.
>>>That is ridiculous. First of all, I don’t have a say in who the president is – no say. Second, no politician is my leader.
you have to accept guilt.
>>>Third, I only have to accept guilt for things I’m actually responsible for.
Even after knowing the bloody history of the Bush – Cheney CABAL you voted and chose them.
>>>Uh,… No, I didn’t.
In my opinion Dem and Rep are the two sides of the same coin.
>>>Actually, two wings of one bird of prey. http://www.antiwar.com/blog/2006/10/26/two-wings-of-one-bird-of-prey/ And if you believe that, then how can you say I chose either of them?
Personally i don
Everybody knows Al Qaeda is a Republican 527.
As Abu Aardvark pointed out, the terror campaign commercial the Repuplicans aired before the elections was exactly like real al-Qaeda videos; it used the same images and even showed the al-Sahab logo.
R Taylor,
It seems people want to run and that
This article makes a valid point and this is not the first indication that the “terrists” want America to
continue the occupation. Before the elections, Robert Parry reported:
“In June, U.S. intelligence also learned from an intercepted al-Qaeda communiqu
I think you’re off a touch with the analysis:
The state is a monopoly that is responsible for most of our worlds problems. There is no service a state can provide that a market could not provide apart from services that allow you to steal from others. This is wrong. We can do something about this. Educating yourself and others about the nature of the state will have immediate benefits to you and in the long term we can have our lives back. Please consider studying and teaching Tolfa free at http://tolfa.us
Absolutely right: al qaida and neocons/likudniks live in perfect symbiosis. Notice I didn’t really mention bush the smaller,
as he’s pretty much controlled as if via transmitter in his tooth by neocons (still).
This is not a pair of fuck-ups (the AQ and Washington cabal), as the appearences suggest. On the contrary, minimizing
US casualties or rebuilding Iraq, or even “winning” this ir that in Irak was never the chief objective: bludgeoning Irak and
splitting it by inciting and enabling civil war was. And that worked quite alright, thank you.
I’m so glad I found you. It’s good to be with like-minded folks.
Bush and company are all a bunch of war criminals. Where to they get off? Imagine hunting down Saddam’s sons and killing them in cold blood? It makes my stomach turn when I think about it.
Liars, murderers and thieves, the lot of them. And they are out there walking around in total freedom. What kind of world is this?
Is it just me that thinks that minding your own business and keeping your nose clean is a good thing, not just with friends and neighbours but also with other countries?
We had no business going into Iraq. The US is guilty of mass murder on a grand scale against INNOCENT civilians. However, while we had no business being there – the killing of Saddams murdering and raping sons is not something I’ll shed a tear over. Frankly, I wish this was done by the oppressed people of Iraq years ago.
Yes, let’s pull out of Iraq. Then the world will fully realize that the true villians are the fanatical muzzos who slaughter each other because they are not of the same sect. They are so xenophobic, that anyone who does not fit into their narrow idea of what the world “should be”, that they hate everyone who isn’t one of them. Let’s pull out of Iraq, and let the real bloodbath begin! It would make the killing fields of Cambodia after the U.S. pulled out of Vietnam, look like a walk in a garden.
When we all realize that what we are fighting is a slow-motion WW 3, we will use the most effective means to end it. The same way we got Japan to surrender: nuke them. Japan had a sovereign nation we could attack. The equivalent of that for the muzzo terrorists would be Mecca or Medina. We need to put them on notice: Halt your violence or be annihilated. If they are “good” muzzos, and they care about their holiest of cities, that will put the fear of their god into them.
Jeff H,
Dude, you are a fucking idiot.
Per my understanding (from Robert Fisk) Iraq is basically a tribal society – not historically broken along Muslim Sects. I also understand that about 30 – 35% of marriages are between Sunni and Shia. Do they expect spouses to kill each other? So what then is fueling this sectarian violence?
Weren’t some British soldiers arrested wearing the garb of Iraqi resisters a while back? Weren’t they arrested and then broken loose by force? Frankly, I think the US/UK/ coalition is deliberately fueling the sectarian violence to keep coalition forces there while the “Enduring” bases are constructed. Is more money made (by Halliburton, Bechtel, KBR, Et Al) if the US in there 2 years …. or 10.
anyone who does not fit into their narrow idea of what the world
Scott, Dude, you’re such an intellectual. What knowledge, what vocab. What a hollow-headed left-wing jack-wad!
And Steve, yes, Iraq is not a unified country. Full independence of Iraq was not achieved until 1932, when the British Mandate was officially terminated. The Sunni-Shia conflict has been a problem since the beginning of domination by the Umayyad caliphate in 661AD. Sure, we’re there purely to make money for “Halliburton, Bechtel, KBR, Et Al”. Same reason we fought the Nazis and the Japanese, the North Koreans, North Vietnam, right? September 11, 2001 was created by our government to create a reason to go to war, isn’t that what you believe? There are always lefties like you who come up with conspiracy theories, that later get debunked for the total horseshit they are. Why do you even live here? Go enjoy your life in some Arab scumhole.
Jeff
I think these two stories sum up the sad state of politics in American politics over the past 100 years for both parties:

And I’m not a Leftie or a Rightie, just a simple Christian GOP who would rather make up his own mind for himself.
Killing Ay-rabs is an intellectually dishonest bad “solution” previously applied by Adolph Hitler to another race.
Even Pat Tillman’s brother knows better about the war:

Here’s something that not discussed that affects warfighters – addiction to violence. Now you can read about it. Check out my book Nam Au Go Go – Falling for the Vietnamese Goddess of War (see http://www.johnakins.net)
Today, it’s a different war and a different goddess, but the same effect on combat marines and soldiers.
