  1. a Team America moment… brought to you by the Bush Legacy.

  2. I can not help but imagine that Gerald Ford met him on the other side and explained to him that God doesn’t judge anybody, for anything.

  4. I noticed how little actual fanfare accompanied this great moment. Not too long ago, every election or new ministerial choice or new constitution was being hailed as a”turning point” or a “new era.” In spite of their “stay the course” rhetoric, has the government and the war party become demoralized?

  5. Judging by the carnage in Iraq since the US & UK started running the place, Saddam should be a candidate for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Bush, Blair, and Clinton are also responsible for hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqis. I doubt there

  6. There is no fanfare because the Dark Architects of this bloody crusade and the Imperial Forces have finally come to the conclusion that his death will not have a psychological effect on the Sunnis that are fighting them.
They could not use him as an ace in this respect and he might have able to,before an International Court, name the “other criminals” and provide damning evidence.

Lemme guess jojo, Silverstein admitted that he ordered the building to be pulled, right?

  10. Does this mean we will not be hearing tracks from Paris’ Sonic Jihad album on breaks during the next Scott Horton rant? How disappointing.

  11. For any STRESSNEWBIE’s, here a Scott Horton (and Angela Keaton) link from a debate a few months ago with Roz Rothstein of Standwithus.com.

  12. To segway back on topic, here is footage of S.H. (that’s Saddam Hussein, not Scott Horton) being led to gallows, and his body post – hanging. I offer them without comment to serve as a muse for subsequent comments on this topic:

  13. When I saw the hanging preparation along with the snuff film-esque men who surrounded Saddam, I felt sick. I truly felt bad for Saddam. After all that anti-Persian support from the United States, Great Britain and Western Europe through the years– is this the payback? If I was a Sunni Arab and saw this, I’d be livid. Which is percisely what the Neocons want to happen. More Bloodshed. More secretarian violence, while Israel reigns supreme–Welcome to the New American Century.

  14. I just gave a listen to that so called debate with Roz Rothstein of Standwithus.com that Scott did…..I am pissed off after hearing that! Talk about bullshit! Those two just ganged up on him, chuckled at his points, marginilized his points, played with the sound board to discredit him…….I’m seeing red!

I guess this is the game we find ourselves in……..very disgusting!

  15. Actually getting people livid was my true plan with this post . I’m passive/aggressive like that – especially around the Holidays. Now go listen to the Angela Keaton debate and you can really blow a gasket.

The one with Angela, was not much better considering she was a studio guest, I would have thought they would be more adult like….what children!

Yeah, Scott that was not a very good opponent for you, she was way out of her leauge! But a good performance on you part.

By the way got any more info on that gas price/gas tax to fund the war with T-bills by Saudi Arabia….that’s something that needs more light!

  21. …3000 KIA’s, 25,000 WIA’s, Untold Arabs killed and maimed thus far through the instigation of civil conflict and terror, $560 billion dollars squandered and counting…all amongst other things that I’m not gonna go into for the 100th time—To string this asshole up for double crossing Famiglia Bush et al…I hope The Decider’s happy know…but I get the feeling he ain’t…They’re layin’ fer I-ran right now…Worse, don’t look to the Democrats to resolve this contingency for more Goddamned war, because they’re not…It does after all demonstrate the well known Health of The State…Oh yeah, one more thing, Happy New Year…Now I’m gonna go get shit faced

  22. If you believe April Glasby greenlighted invasion #1 Saddam was the one who was double – crossed.

  24. How do we know for sure that its really him?

    Posted by Phil | December 31, 2006, 11:31 am
  25. …Phil’s got a damn good, if predictable point. Call me a crank, but yeah, something about that neck-tie party didn’t look exactly “kosher” to me either, the rope looked like something out of a comedy skit; and I’ve never heard of a scarf for rope burns that would be post mortem, and the Sadistic Mother Fucker had about a thousand doubles—Some of which were said to have been so identical in appearance that they even confused his Muharabak and Ba’ath intimates…Anyway…Steve, did you ever hear the report regarding that once the Iraqi Army had been driven out of Kuwait in the ‘91 war, Bush The First deployed a hand selected Battalion of Marines to guard his personal Oil Reserves there. That allegation speaks volumes to a double cross alone, and I have tendency to think it is more true than false. But when I realized he was nuts was when I saw a pre-Kuwait picture of Saddam in TIME, clad in genuine Assyrian armor standing next to a authentic War Chariot drawn by two prize winning Arabian Stallions, with the caption being his declaration of intent to reintroduce Middle eastern Jewry to a “New Babylonian captivity.” Then he invaded Kuwait to recoup what Bush et al fucked him out after promising more support for invading Iran, and fired scud missiles at ‘em…In short, just like JFK, he did everything he shouldn’t have. I realize these examples are apocryphal, but I’m 3/4’s drunk too…Finally, had I been with Ol’ Dan Rather for that interview, I would have asked Saddam if the name Manuel Noriega meant anything to him…and to consider that, if they went to all that trouble [Operation Just Cause in Panama] to step on a grease ant pimp like him….Think what they’ll do to you?…and they did didn’t they?…At least they made it look like it…either way you won’t see him any more…These guys operate just like the Old School Mafia used to in the 20’s and 30’s, only on a International basis…Yeah…Now, back to the Cognac

  26. Finally heard the “Debate Hour.” Now I know your problem. You go soft on the weak opponents. You were willing to take a clean, clear unamimous decision with an opponent who is not in your class. These are the kinds of guys you gotta blast outta there, not pepper with jabs, get in and out, and take a decision. Think Tyson mid – eighties. Think Mr. T in his first fight w/ Balboa (in Rocky III). Your fans want Blood, Blood, and more Blood! Just think WWARD (What would Al Rantel do?),

    Posted by Steve C | December 31, 2006, 4:33 pm
  27. Mace

Exactly my thoughts. The video looked phoney and you’re right-on about that necktie, right out of a Warner Brothers cartoon!! I also thought those masked executioners look like extras for the WWE.

With so many sensitive issues at hand, you think they would have done a better job documenting the whole thing.

Even if he was executed, it has the same relevance of one gangland “don” killing off another.
