Daydreams of a military coup over the Constitution.
When I see the worsening degeneracy in our politicians, our media, our educators, and our intelligentsia, I can't help wondering if the day may yet come when the only thing that can save this country is a military coup.
Good on you, Uncle Tom.

“I got a letter from the government
The other day
I opened and read it
It said they were suckers
They wanted me for their army or whatever
Picture me given’ a damn – I said never”
Yeah well take that from PE, Tom… You’re wet dream will never come true.
Scott…… Hate to ruin your day, but I think Sowell writes for LEW ROCKWELL…..Sorry.
Hey…this’ll cheer ya up….I know your nor up for a throw down with the learned Dr. Peikoff….but when I youtubed him the other day I can across another objectivist “kill all those Muslim extremist types”….he’s in the same mold as Peikoff but not as developed (late 20’s)……..Check out his 2 part “What to do about Iraq.” [each part runs about 6 minutes]

Enjoy.
That guy is breathtakingly dumb. I think the Randroids are a major reason Libertarians are either ignored or despised. Having a bunch of dimwitted cultists as the poster children for a political movement isn’t a good thing.
Sowell doesn’t write for Rockwell, though some at LR have mentioned over the years that they appreciate some of what he’s written, though certainly not all.
Oscar: Who shot? What? Who? What?
Steve: There are no Sowell archives on LRC and looks like more than 9 out of 10 references to him are negative:

Re: Randian idiot: I watched about two minutes. What a goofball. Jeez. Do these people have followers?
CC: What sucks is that Randians aren’t even libertarians, but somehow are considered the movement’s voice.
That’s why I think politics is hopeless. Whatever label you use, and whatever cause you espouse, will eventually be appropriated by opportunistic idiots. Libertarianism was dead as soon as the majority associated it with South Park Republicans and Randroids.
Or with Larouche.
You’re right, of course. We’re doomed.
I once had a sticker…
Did Sowell also write recently offering a dramatic solution to the Iranian problem?
Here he is accepting the false premise:

I didn’t see his final solution.
Sowell is listed on Lew Rockwell in the columnists and commentators section.

Do a Control “F” on the above link. He’s there. They are listed alphabetically.
By the way I came across the “What to do about Iraq guy” (Brandon Cropper) when I went to youtube and entered Leonard Peikoff, there were 2 entries of Peikoff lecturing, and then several ABOUT Peikoff by this Brandon Cropper guy. I youtubed his name and got tons of little videos on philosophy (objectivism), assorted poems, book and movie recommendations….This guy has a lot of free time.
Apparently, he’s a former Mormon (by background) who is now a devout follower of the Secular Religion of “Objectivism.” He apparently has plans to start a school for 8 – 14 year olds which he will call the Lyceum (in honor of Aristotle I believe).

Hey Scott, maybe I can prompt him into calling your show…….ONLY KIDDING!!!!! REALLY, ONLY KIDDING.
Sowell is listed on Lew Rockwell in the columnists and commentators section.
Yeah but are there any archives there? No. I already gave you the Google search of lrc for Sowell it’s 49 outta 50 denouncing him and the praise is on things where he’s actually right.
If I had a heavy bag to hit around here, I’d probably watch that crap too. Seems like a good way to get the blood pumping.
well, this is wierd, ‘cuz I’ve gotten fff’s email update for years and there are, as recently as this past monday, regularly referenced articles by Sowell. true, they’re topic-selective to economy mostly, but if you search Sowell on fff’s site, there are pages of refs, even favorable book reviews from Ebeling(FEE) back to ‘95.
but, that, by no means, claims to make any sense of his schizophrenic ‘Creators Syndicate’ entries glommed onto by the NRO/Town Hall crowd. maybe Charles can make some sense of it next week when he has him on the KFNX show, specifically on the issue of his NRO article that’s the subject of this post.
