I couldn’t see how Miller’s arguments advocating the war in Iraq made any sense. He seemed to be arguing for the war in Iraq because of some danger posed by Islamist fanatics. Even if it were true that we we needed to fight the Islamists, Iraq was not a hotbed of Islamist sentiment. The only thing Hussein had in common with Al Qaeda was that both were Arabs and were nominally Muslim. That’s it – nothing else.
Miller is a shill whose career is in the toilet. Until I heard about this interview I had no idea what he was up to. He’s fallen quite far since his Monday Night Football days. He is either a complete idiot and ignoramus about Iraq or he knows better but he’s spouting this crap because he’s a paid puppet for the neocons.
…I remember when he was running his mouth on Monday Night Football; he was so irritating I had to turn down the volume on TV and listen to the coverage on the radio…but, as you say, with a career in the toilet, maybe the little smart ass prick will finally go away…By the way, I’m the Ape.
It is a tribute to the Honorable Dr. Ron Paul that he would give the likes of a Dennis Miller the time of day, but it is one more opportunity to get his message out.
What I would really like to see is a real, honest-to-goodness Constitutional scholar doing an interview with Dr. Paul; the blather and BS on the part of the talking empty heads would be gone and we could all get a refresher course on the Constitution.
