  1. Ron Paul Update

    Help! More room needed.

    June 26, 2007

Good news (actually, great news): The Ron Paul 2008 campaign is growing!

Bad news: We’ve run out of space to work.

The Ron Paul 2008 campaign started in the corner of a one-bedroom apartment. It then moved to a small office of 348 square feet, which is where we are now. But our present office has become too small to accommodate the fast-growing campaign…and we need your help to expand.

Our present office is so small that we can’t hire the much-needed additional staff for a national campaign. We even have to turn away volunteers because we simply don’t have room for them.

Office space in the D.C. area is expensive, and landlords expect tenants to sign at least a three-year lease; preferably a five-year lease. But after we canvassed the area by foot and called numerous leasing agents and watched the local classifieds and checked CraigsList each day, we found a place! It’s a sub-lease situation with flexible terms that we just couldn’t pass up.

We will have the second floor of a modest, older, two-story building in Arlington, Virginia. It’s only two blocks from a Metro station, making it convenient for staff and volunteers. The office is on a busy street; across from a very busy grocery story. Large windows will be perfect for a “Ron Paul 2008″ banner! But most importantly, the new office will give us the space to build a national campaign.

However, office space here is expensive regardless of how modest the building is. And most landlords require political campaigns to pay the total rent in advance.

    So we need your help.

We plan to move on July 15th. To do so, we will need to give the landlord a check for $54,000.00.

Will you help us write that check?

Enthusiasm for Ron Paul’s bid for the presidency grows by the day. Our goal: put Ron Paul in the White House. And we all know why.

Help us write that check. Donate today by going to https://www.ronpaul2008.com/donate/

    Thank you!

  3. Not one of his better interviews, people will likely watch it and miss the distinction between violent resistance and non violent resistence and think he’s attempting doublespeak since at first he denied the ghandi/luther likeness and then later used them. You also gotta love how Cavuto asked Ron Paul to explain a statement he didn’t make.

Seems like a slimejob interview all in all.

  6. God damn!

Could just once someone in the media say something like, “Wow, a politician who is actually serious about letting us keep the money we work so hard to earn instead of being eager to take it from us and use it to enrich the special interests and murder people all over the world! How refreshing and hopeful that is for all of the working people of this country!”

But nooooooo!!!!!!! The little rat bastard, weasel faced Ca Puke O tries to make Ron Paul sound like some kind of lunatic. Those collectivist, state worshipping, rat bastard, fascist loving, sycophants in the media make me puke!

Yup. I know the election is light years away in political time but if the online betting sites’ odds are correct then Billary will be the next president and will have a dem congress. Following the odds on the online betting sites predicted the last 2 presidential elections.

  9. Capuko bailed at CNBC when he realized that cramming bogus investment scams down the throats of the general public would no longer fly… The fix is in for the “Hill” and this is the last chance for the GP to wake up and do something. My bet is that they will stay asleep.

  11. Cavuto’s a putz. He tried to recast Paul’s statements, tried to put words in his mouth, and every time he discussed Paul’s view, it was discussed in a condescending tone, as if to make Paul sound like an unstable man who has no place in the US Congress.

Cavuto is the kind of spin merchant that should be lined up against the wall and executed by a 15-member machine gun firing squad. Anyone who so boldly lies and dissembles should be punished with The Dubya Bush Penalty reserved for “enemy combatants” — disappearance, torture, death. Because frankly, what Cavuto does is wreck our representative system of government by feeding false information to the citizens. If that’s not working as an “enemy combatant” I don’t know what is.
