I don’t really find it so much weird as outrageous that Sibel’s testimony was
not in the 9/11 Commission’s report.

Tom – this particular information was sent to Special Agent in Charge of Counterterrorism Thomas Frields. “…and after 9/11 the agents and the translators were told to “keep quiet” regarding this issue.”

So at a minimum we have a cover-up. This information was presented to the 911 Commission, by SIbel and, separately, another translator, and it was not included in the ‘Missed Opportunities’ section of their report. Weird, huh.

Oscar – This could exceed just arrogance, greed, ineptitude, incompetance, laziness, and cynicism.

It implies prior knowledge which could mean they sat back and waited for it to happen. There may be no evidence to prove this, but then again there is no evidence to disprove it either. Of course, the Bush administration could end such nasty conspiracy theories by ending the cover-up and accepting accountability for their inaction and lies about 9/11.

Until they end the cover-up, I think it is fair to advance the possibility that they did in fact let it happen on purpose. After all, the PNAC gang seemed to be wishing for a new Pearl Harbor.

I believe her, too.

That the government has tried so hard to keep her silenced means she has something to say that I want to hear. I wrote a synopsis of her situation about three years ago (that I should update).
