I guess “do no harm” means that waterboarding is therapeutic. Hey, oxygen deprivation and extreme stress levels and pulmonary edema is good for you!! Golly I never knew that!

Smothering, and the resulting Pulmonary Edema, Oxygen Deprivation and Asphyxia no more constitute torture than does the Strapedo, Bastinado and Electroshock applied to your genitals—Everyone knows that these “Enhanced Interrogation” methods, designed to Protect and Defend Freedom are nothing worse than common Fraternity pranks…Having your head stuck in a bucket of shit liquefied with rancid urine until your lungs threaten to burst; or being choked into unconsciousness and revived with cold water and a beating for 48 hours straight, never hurt anyone…In fact? It builds character.

Surely he’s in no position to make any evaluations of morality…Far from an indictment against the Institutional use of torture, I do believe this article has been written for your encouragement…and for mine…If they can use these “procedures” against some ragged assholes they snatched up in Afghanistan on the word of some tribal enemy for a couple hundred dollars? They can do it here… and eventually they will…After all the “Surge” in Iraq is now trumpeted by the Media as “Starting to work.” This with a record 24+ US troops killed in a week…Yet Anti-war convictions are said to be down by 10%…Go figure?
