It was about a 5-year-old boy how was accidentally shot by cop that was supposedly shooting a snake.....about 400 yards (or feet?) away. I'm not opposed to gun ownership, but I am strongly in favor of stiff penalties for irresponsible jerks (cops or otherwise) who don't know the first thing about gun safety. The poor kid was just sitting next to his grandpa, fishing. And his parents were forgiving.
