How to Answer Simple Questions
A beauty pageant winner from South Carolina was asked the following question: “Recent polls have shown a fifth of Americans can’t locate the United States on a world map. Why do you think this is?”
South Carolina answered as follows:
I personally believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so because, uh, some people out there in our nation don’t have maps, and, uh, I believe that our education like such as in South Africa and, uh, the Iraq everywhere like, such as and I believe that they should, our education over here in the U.S. should help the U.S., er, should help South Africa and should help the Iraq and the Asian countries, so we will be able to build up our future for our children.
Here is a Youtube video of the answer. It is painful to watch, yet I cannot look away. I was reminded of Britney’s statement on how we should all just shut up and support Shrub.
It appears this girl answered the question without meaning to. Here are some answers I can think of if she’s ever asked this question again:
“Because Americans don’t give a shit about the rest of the world.”
“A fifth of Americans also voted for Shrub.”
“They keep changing the maps every time the US conquers another country and wipes out its civilian population”
“Because the US education system isn’t designed to teach useful or practical information, it’s designed to teach ‘diversity’”

How ’bout, “Who gives a shit if American school kids can’t read a map? Surely not the education gestapo running the schools. Any kid with a mind would eventually realize on his own — without school — that reading a map can be a helpful thing. He doesn’t need a prison to drum it into him. Abolish the public ed system and vote for Ron Paul.”
