@AA - this is totally in context. this blog is about freedom, including freedom of speech, and about not giving in to the War Party (exactly the guys who are trying to crush Finkelstein).
@Scott - why don’t you interview Finkelstein for the show. He is a fountain of knowledge about Israel and about the Lobby
Here is how the propaganda shows the situation in Iraq:

What’s there not to like about joining the Army and supporting the war?! Its one big party with the President!
Scott…. I think your being myopic here….I believe Russia and certainly China, have tremendous business interests in Iran….I don’t think Russia wants the US to “overextend” itself in Iran as an attack in Iran would threaten billions of dollars in contracts with Russia and China…..China of course, could just start selling its dollar denominated assets to punish America for invasion into Iran.
Ironically, the big winner would be Venezuela because of the oil spike. If you recall, Palast says that for the low grade crude in VZ to be prifitable to refine, the price must be north of $40/barrel.
@all: I misspoke during the interview when I said that most members of the Iranian Majlis are women. While women are well represented, they are not, as far as I know, the majority of the representatives. I confused this with a recent report that most Iranian students are females
I think that the two-headed female soldier is a new weapon designed to save on consumption of food (only eats for one) and bullets (can only fire one gun). Too bad it wasn’t loaded at the time.
EXcuse me, but with two heads there are also TWO mouths to feed (and we all know that consumption of food is determined by the mouth and not by the belly).
Any chance you can post a separate mp3 link for VS’ call? I missed part of it and it would be helpful if you could post it as an interview, even if you can only do so on your own blog.
@MikeL - oh, you mean about the chick with two heads and two mouths to feed? Sorry, not only am I obtuse by nature, but I am also under-caffeeinated right now
Looks like Norman Finkelstein has been placed on administrative leave:

I don’t know where else to post this so I chose this spot. Sorry if it’s out of context.

…Knowing of this Chavez’s heartfelt love for The US in general, and The Decider in particular?—Way north of $40 per bbl.
Notice how the troops don’t have any weapons? The imperial guards were probably worried he’d be fragged.
The great emperor doesn’t trust his praetorians one bit.

Scott, please post the great interview with VS.
VS, it’s ok. I shouldn’t be clogging up the space with pictures of two-headed turtles anyway. m
