I saw a young man standing on the side of the road today, all by his lonesome except for a big “Ron Paul for Pres” sign. A few moments later I wondered if passersby thought the lone signman was crazy, and if so, would these same people also think that RP was crazy too. In our society it’s considered odd to stand on the side of road with a sign over your head, no matter what the sign’s message is. Why is that?
Another personal testimony: yesterday I had to drive from New Smyrna Beach, south of Daytona, to Orando and back. As usual, I decided to avoid the highways and drive through the boonies (I love the Floridian wilderness) which is big time “rednecks & alligators” territory with mostly signs like “Jesus is Lord” and “Thanks God for George and Jeb” (that’s the Bushes, in case you wonder). Guess what I kind if signs I saw most this time? Ron Paul signs. Yep, somebody has been busy posting RP signs all over the Central Florida it seems, and the rednecks are not tearing them down. Hey – if the RP message can get a following in East-Central Florida, it can get it anywhere in the USA, no?
Easy saker. You’re getting close to bashing my own immediate kin in northern Florida. Of course I live 2500 miles from there now, but still. They’re my peeps.
Thanks for posting those RP interviews. All three are great. My head tells me that his nomination by the GOP is next to impossible but my heart doesn’t care. I can’t stop myself from getting enthusiastic when I listen to him. It’s why I send money to the campaign and I’ll show up on caucus night in Minnesota to cast my vote.
It seems that since his appearance on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Tucker has lost the bow-tie, at least the last few times I saw him. Stewart made a hilarious comment about Tucker looking like some sort of cartoon character with it, and it seemed that he stopped wearing it on a regular basis. Tucker does show respect for Ron Paul during his appearances, and I think deep down, really likes the guy.

It’s here also. No ads.
Thanks.
