Ain’t that the fuckin truth. But Musharraf can’t arrest ALL of the opposition, then it would look like a Police State under Martial Law or something. Musharraf needs puppet opposition the same way the US needs Musharraf as a puppet dictator. Appearances are important, just as the Rs and Ds.

I mean, it is pretty obvious that when they say “Emergency Rule” they are churching up the words “Martial Law”. I read about Musharraf cracking down on political dissidents and I wonder why Bhuto is still being hyped up. Then I listened to that interview and it helped put the pieces together. He is the military puppet and she is the civilian puppet. They have appearances to keep up and those pesky checks and balances were nagging that you can’t have one puppet doing both.

Oh, I don’t. With the exception of RP I don’t trust any politician. Pretty much any politician that attains as much power as Bhutto has in her life has to be corrupt. Plus her family tree contains a long line of corrupt politiciticians.
