No surprise this went down in Utah. Anyone who thinks the western states are relatively more free is fooling himself. The highways and little towns of Nevada, Utah, Arizona and New Mexico are the least free and most heavily policed region of the country, in my opinion. Better to hide out in apartment blocks of big cities without a car, bike everywhere. Those fucking license plates are the police state’s best friend. Ron Paul says no national id… lol like we don’t already have one!
Any chance he could sue this cop ? it’s not as if he was resisting arrest or anything, or can they just tase you for anything now ?
He could try to sue the county – or was it a state trooper? – but not the individual. He has sovereign immunity.
