Hey Scott,

Did you realize that footage of the bell ringing was taken my good friend Thom of CITIZINEmag.com who first posted it online at my new magazine site he helped co-found, www.AnomalyMagazine.com?

He says he's already gotten more views and comments on that 22 second clip than anything he's ever uploaded before. No surprise, its a no-brainer: Ron Paul Ringing the Liberty Bell! WooHoo!!!

Oh yeah and don't forget about all Mon Mothma's support for Palpatine over the years too. She sent Ambassador Dodonna to tell him he could invade Hoth's northern oil fields and only got mad when he took the whole thing.

Scott--

Thought you'd be interested in the "opening scroll" of the new Star Wars film script I've been working on--it involves the liberation of the Ewoks (?Ewaqi's?)
OK, I haven't really been working on a script. I was just bored.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away….

STAR WARS
EPISODE VII:
THE OCCUPATION OF ENDOR

Five years have passed since the overthrow of the Emperor. When the Rebel Alliance first landed on the forest moon of Endor to liberate the Ewoks from the tyrant Palpatine, they expected to be greeted with flowers and yub-yubs. Palpatine was rumored to be building a Weapon of Mass Destruction-- a new Death Star-- which, after all, he had used in the past, against his own people, in Alderaan. [In truth, the Empire did have a Death Star program in effect, which was to be used for peaceful means, as a source of energy.] It was rumored that Supreme Rebel Leader and Decider, Mon Mothma, who had long been in support of an invasion of Endor, had relied on faulty Bothan intelligence to make her case for War….

The overthrow of the Empire was swift and easier than expected. The Ewoks at first supported the Alliance, using their slings and Bantaks to take down the feared crack troops of the Imperial Guard. Palpatine himself was eventually found and executed, without trial, unceremoniously thrown into a pit. Ewoks and Rebels alike celebrated, and the Mission was declared Accomplished….

Unfortunately, the Rebels overstayed their welcome. The occupying Alliance of the Willing had no plans to secure the planet, and no reasonable government system in place to maintain security. There was an insurmountable language barrier, as the only available translator was a fruity protocol droid who had recently been reassembled by a Wookie. The main problem, however, seemed to be a failure to understand Ewok culture, and the major differences between the Ewoks; which ultimately led to a civil war between various tribes, mainly the Chakites, led by fiery cleric Logray, and the Chirpis, followers of Chief Chirpa….

The story now continues with a full scale insurgency underway. Although a Surge, led by Admiral Ackbar, has helped stabilize the local situation on the ground; there has been no political solution formulated by the Ewoks themselves. Jedi Luke Skywalker has been sent on a mission to find and eliminate the leader of the insurgency, Ewok guerilla commander Wicket E. Warrick….
