Aran MacKinnon is an associate professor of South African History, African Rural Political Economy, and Zulu Ethnicity at the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, Georgia. Dr. MacKinnon has studied and taught history in Canada, the United Kingdom, and South Africa. He is the author of The Making of South Africa: Culture and Politics.
Glenn Greenwald is a former attorney and current political and legal blogger and columnist at Salon Magazine. He is the author of How Would a Patriot Act? and A Tragic Legacy both New York Times bestsellers.

I’m kind of curious about the status of the Hagee endorsement of McCain too. Obama has been pounded on for the partially kooky Rev. Wright for weeks now after all sorts of distancing speeches. McCain is proud to be endorsed by the almost entirely kooky apocalyptic Hagee and nary a peep out of the major media corporations.
