I finished it this morning after getting it yesterday while traveling in VA. Everybody (16+) should read this book. Once again this man inflames my passions.

XHTML: I'm absolutaly excited that the GOOD DOC. IS STILL IN IT, and more and more massages will be getting out
to people for them to read. He doesn't just tells the problem He has an idea about the solution. None of the
others do DEM's or REP's. Americas future is with DR. RON PAUL lets face it. McCain says no new taxes is
He saying that He wants us to be happy with the way things are. Dr. Paul says no taxes period with the
American people having more money, ther's part of the face lift for the ECONOMY, because the people love to
spend. Ron Paul says bring all of our people home, that is costing us billions, there is part of the the tax money.
On top of the fact that we are already broke. We all need to get behind the DOCTOR, then people who say it
still is better then anywhere else, could see how good it really can be. Freedom is not free but after the work is

To Greybird: The book itself addresses this. The impression is that the idea of such a book only occurred to Dr. Paul relatively recently, and that he intends the book as a permanent statement to stand long after the campaign. It's an instrument to keep his ideas alive beyond 2008.

Also, the official release date isn't until April 30. That's when marketing always begins. So let's wait and see what they do with it. The official campaign hasn't even sent out an email to its list yet. I bet that will happen on the 30th. Etc.

No matter how good this is — and from reading hundreds of thousands of Ron Paul's words over a quarter-century, I have no doubt that it's good — three aspects are sorely lacking.

~ The book should have been released <i>at least three months ago,</i> before Super Tuesday, so as to add to electoral momentum, and to benefit from it. It's now an afterthought to the campaign, and thus, for some of the nastier commentators, already an item of derision.

~ It needs to be in an ultra-cheap paperback edition. That, too, would have been ten times as useful in January, rather than April.

~ It needs a <i>supplemental video</i> stressing his points, and other promos accompanying this to publicize the book's existence. Have we learned <i>nothing</i> from the YouTube/MoneyBomb tactical revolution?

Hah, that rascal Tom Woods! I figured someone would pull this here but not in Lew's blog. But I guess I forgot everyone is a comedian today! :)

From http://www.lewrockwell.com/blog/lewrw/archives/020615.html

(I almost titled this entry "Scott Horton Hears a Who," but that (a) doesn't really make sense, and (b) is probably pretty annoying for anyone whose last name is Horton.)

I apologize that I can only recite what I remember from the book rather than having any intelligent of my own to say about it. I started out just jotting down a list of topics covered and just went from there, instead of coming up with an actual topic to start with. A lousy way to write, but you get the point...
