The excellent blogger and author Glenn Greenwald has a great new podcast interview with CNN’s Aaron Brown about the New York Times revelations about the Pentagon propaganda machine.
Brown does a magnificent job pretending Greenwald is persecuting him and dodging any personal accountability for bringing the Pentagon/AEI shills on his show to lie to you every day.

I’m tempted to commend Brown for agreeing to be interviewed and not being belligerent (you know, contrast him with some of the other cable news guys), but jesus, there is something about that guy that is just not OK. I’d never let my kids–and I wish no one else would let their kids either, for that matter–sit through one of his undoubtedly high-minded classes. He’s a pontificating windbag, that guy.
Ever notice that these serious (read seriously paid) journalists who’ve worked at Brown’s level never let basic morality sully their super-important professional ethics? I have.
Or common sense.
That too.
