Scott your rants are great but you’ve got nothing on Bill O’Reilly, check this out
Whatta psycho !!
And this is who many people get their news from?
Something never change…
He reminds me of my friend Chris.
Open the show with it scott lol
I made a compilation of some of his best melt downs
, his treatment of Col Anne Wright was pretty low, in O’Reilly’s eyes just because she wanted to wait and see wether or not the British sailors were in Iranian waters before launching ww3 she is ‘anti American’
I like the way O’Reily does subtitles when he pontificates on air.
I have heard the terms B2B (business to business), E2E (enterprise to enterprise) but this is an example of M2M (moron to moron)
Anders
Maybe he was mad because they booked the wrong Sting?? O’Reilly acts like a WWE character too.

Scott:
That actor was Dennis Farina…. I just saw him YESTERDAY in a bit non - speaking role in Michael Mann’s 1981 James Caan vehicle THIEF…. In fact, since this role was before he had a “name” I pointed his small appearance out to my wife….
Oh, while I’m pick out major actors in bit roles, I was watching Susan Seitelman’s SMITHEREENS yesterday and there was this 20ish Transvestite Prostitute in the film briefly….I did a double - take and asked her if that was Chris Noth….She’s like no way…. Thats just some 2 second clip of a drag queen…. Turns out I WAS RIGHT! And I like to be right about shit like that….
That John Bolton is a real piece of work, listen to this clip, admits that he wanted the Iranians throw out the IAEA inspectors… John Bolton smacks of a guy who just like to see bombs going off on his TV, another chicken hawk who hates muslims.
Great interview with Margolis.
Hah, they’ve pulled the O’Reilly clip down, wonder if they’ll remove mine next ?
Bob Barr officially announces his candidacy:
http://www.ajc.com/news/content/news/stories/2008/05/12/barr_0512.html?cxntlid=homepage_tab_newstab
IF Bob Barr gets the LP nod…..both Chuck Baldwin (CP) and Barr (LP) will be fighting hard for an RP endorsement….. I think RP will sit this one out and just campaign for Paleoconservative House candidates and try to build up his ranks within the Rep party.
Based on the below, I think Baldwin (while not a clone of RP by any stretch) is a far better representative of the RP banner.

Do you think you can draft your buddy Doyle Davidson as a running mate for one of them?
Maybe he could call out the Clintons during the debates. Lots of sluttiness there for the campaign against.
Ya think if Scott was softer on Gravel’s perpetual plebiscite brand of libertarianism that maybe he would have gotten that tounge n cheeck video w/ Gravel instead of Obama Girl?
http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=gravel+obama+girl&sitesearch=
….or maybe they just wanted a pretty face…..
?? After the election, ya think Gravel may get a gig as a Viagra pitch mam a/a Bob Dole?

Islamic Finance - A Counter Balance to Rogue Economics?
March 25th, 2008 Posted in Rogue Economics. Loretta Discusses how Islamic finance which is regulated by the Sharia Law is providing one of the few counter balancing financial structures to Rogue Economics. By prohibiting the use of funds for investments and activities that the Sharia prohibits, Islamic finance excludes many of the markets in which rogue entrepreneurs proliferate.
The Ahmad interview is one of the most interesting ever.
Scott
great interview with Ahmad, you let him speak very freely and get a lot of interesting ideas across, thanks. I have always felt like a fair bit of what libertarians are saying was quite compatible with Islamic teaching. I’m going to go and have a look at his site now.
Something that keeps irritating me though happened again the other day. Every now and again you make mention of the Islamic caliphate being something medieval and having no merit, as if proven by the fact that it doesn’t exist anymore. It’s ironic since any Libertarian society you can point to as an example has also long since ceased to exist. If Libertarianism is so right and the Islamic system so backward, how come the ideas of Libertarianism didn’t conquer half the world? Just because people don’t implement a system properly doesn’t take away it’s basic merits. It’s just a part of human nature that as time passes we stuff things up from how they’re supposed to be.
Anyway, apart from that I’m still listening so keep up the good work. Oh, I also listened to your Andrew Cockburn interview again and its interesting to hear him speak all about the propaganda generals a year ago and see it in the news now.
When are you getting Dr. Prather back on? He must have something to say about the recent goings on. What happened to Iran talking about withdrawing from the IAEA? That all seemed to fizzle out when you were expecting war the next day!
