US Defense Secretary Robert Gates has revealed that Washington plans to engage in a number of ‘exclusive’ activities against Iran.
“We’re being very aggressive in going after the networks in Iraq, and the individuals who are interfering or supplying weapons from Iran,” said Gates Tuesday.
“We have a number of other activities under way. We take it very serioUSly. But at this point our activities are focUSed pretty exclUSively inside Iraq,” he added.
He accused the Islamic Republic of arming Iraqi insurgents and claimed it had ‘awakened them (the Iraqis) to the reality of the magnitude of Iranian meddling in Iraq.’
A lesson in what? Illegal warfare??

Would Israel consider joining us as a member of the Unites States’ Common Wealth?
What are costs and benefits for US?
We are already supporting Israel economically, politically and by sharing intelligence and military hardware. In addition, some Israeli Americans with both Israeli and American citizenships serve in the Israeli Armed Forces. Israel never would have to be fearful of any other nation; our great American Armed Forces will protect the common wealth as they would the homeland.
What do you think?

Why would Israel want to join? Now they get all the benefits and pay none of the taxes.
What are costs and benefits for US?
Costs: Bazillions more even than the 4 billion a year we give them now. I suppose another 200 trillion to occupy Iraq, Iran, Syria and Lebanon forever for them. Plus the cost of all the suicide attacks here in the United States that would certainly follow the new wars.
Benefits: … None.
The Israeli military could fend for itself fine without us. Since when has the US military ever protected our “homeland”?
And why not make the whole world part of “America’s commonwealth”?
