Can anyone tell me why a film with so many major stars has to fight to get a nationwide distribution?
Fox news have been smearing McLellen all morning so he’s obviously touched a bit of a nerve in the white house, Jimmy Carter is getting a the fox treatment too, for “outing” Israel’s nuclear arms, which according the them is “helping Iran”.
Does this story have bullshit written all over it or is it just me ? the neo-con talking point for the last 3 years has been “we can’t allow Iran to have nukes because they’ll give them to terror groups” and now at a time when Iran’s nuclear program is in the news this story comes out-

Fortunately, the public is starting to realize they are more likely to be hit by a tornado than killed by a terrorist nuke. The GOP has milked the terrorist threat for all its worth; the American people ain’t buyin’ it anymore.
It was funny, right after 9/11, I saw Ollie North interviewed in which he scoffed at the idea of terrorists getting a suitcase nuke. North was emphatic that 9/11 was the terrorists “best shot” and minimized the possibility of al Qaeda being a real threat to the U.S.
Unfortunately, North had not yet gotten the memo that called on all good conservatives to milk the terrorist threat for everything it was worth.
Government TV (Fox) are all over this, according to them he’s “bitter” from being replaced, and was a “horrible spokesman”, and is basically just making it all up to sell a book, you can always tell when somethings hitting a nerve with the Bush admin when Fox goes after and smear the person making the allegations, that horrible patronizing blonde who is on in the mornings makes me want to throw up.
Ollies definitely received that memo.

Regarding the above video with the 2 pussy guys and the 2 bimbos , I guarantee you that none of these people or their children have any intention of ever serving in the military. They remind me of a group of snot-nosed ancient Roman citizens who would never think of taking the initiative to help someone besides themselves. The best they can offer is disingenuous applause as the wounded and injured parade past them looking for some sort of morbid validation.

I know our news stations/services etc aren’t great over here but I’m so glad we don’t get anything like these people, they don’t even hide the fact they’re biased, it’s just in your face, every single report is slanted and favorable to the government, maybe it’s just slicker and subtle over here, although i have read somewhere that Murdoch wants sky news to be more like fox and their are some signs he might be getting his way

Hey Scott, I recently had my first child, and suddenly, strangely, I have this great urge to cheer on the killing of brown people! Boy, being a parent sure changes your understanding of the world. Here, I’ve been told all along that my anti-imperialistic views were just because I didn’t have kids, and they were right! Man, was I naive. I see the world much clearer now.
