  7. No she doesn’t :D , I’ve already heard the interview, but she does talk about GROSSman.

  8. Dang, Sibel said, “The CIA actions were designed to” and then the stream dies.

  9. Woo-hoo. Scott dropped Marc Grossman’s name. That was almost as smooth as the way he worked Richard Clarke into the conversation with Philip Giraldi

  10. This whole Sybil thing just proves that the US government is nothing more than a bastion of criminals.

  11. Is it that hard to hit “record” at the start of a show and then “stop” at the end of it. And another thing … when they’re actually available the size of the files on kaos archives are way too big. If it wasn’t free I would be p!$$(d.

Come on free market, produce another interview show which relentlessly exposes the government’s lie and criminal behaviour and can also podcast properly.

  12. I’m actually looking for a free linux-fedora compatible program that I can use to break apart the two hour long show into two one hour long mp3′s so I can burn them to to disc and listen to them in my car. Unfortunately I can only play CD’s in my car and can’t play a data disc, nor do I have an mp3 jack. If anyone has suggestions please let me know.

Heh. Yes, it is difficult! No, the thing is, it’s an automagic doowhacky which fucks up every time the stream breaks which happens from time to time and I don’t know why – that’s someone else’s department. Size: They’re only at 16k right? Less than that sounds like ass.

    I’m afraid I may be one of a kind…

  15. Size: a 30+ minute interview is 8MB on antiwar.com/radio. The two hour show from kaos is 110MB.

  16. By the time car makers are up with the tech everything’s moved on.

See … the freemarket really sucks, you can never get what you want.

Pupnik’s suggestion is a good one, but if you’re looking for something GUI based, try Audacity.

I occasionally use Audacity (I run Kubuntu 7.10) to re-encode the show to a lower bitrate.
