It’s not surprising to see Olbermann indulging in a little partisan hackery, but I wonder how people over here at Stress feel about Olbermann’s and Alter’s characterization of opposing warrantless wiretapping and a desire to uphold the fourth amendment as a LEFT position.
Two questions: Doesn’t this just prove that LEFT is a completely empty phrase, reserved strictly for the poison pen? And is Ron Paul a leftist now?

Olbermann is the Hegelian antithesis to Sean Hannity. Together, they create the pressure from below for the bipartisan police state. Keith is nothing but a blue-state fascist/warm-weather civil libertarian.
