Rove Shut Down

Alan Colmes does a pretty good job of shutting down fascist pig Karl Rove.

I always think of this (21:30 into it or so) when I see Karl Rove on TV talking:http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=9090164362227043326&ei=zK5uSP-SFZSGrQKzk6WrAQ&hl=en

When the rightwingers say the US didn’t treat enemy combatants with due process in WWI and WWII, the proper answer is: Yeah, and Wilson and FDR were criminals. Since when do conservatives worship these tyrants?
Unfortunately, Democrats don’t want to say that.

I like the way Rove refers to Habeus Corpus as a problem. He would really look good in a Nazi uniform with all the big military medals and Swastikas on the sleeves.

In WWI and II they were given Prisoner of War status, which Bush and Rove deliberately circumvented.

God, that Colmes is weak. Rove invokes the authorization for Bush to invade Iraq for making up detainee law and then having Congress rubber stamp it? October 2002, he said. And then what does limp-dick Colmes do? He argues that they shoulda let the inspections continue or some crap instead of the point that we ain’t talking about Iraq and an authorization to use force against al Qaeda - which is what Nazi Rove must have meant - is not a declaration of war. He didn’t dispute the bogus “37 Gitmo detainees have returned to the battlefield” line and frankly can’t make any argument about any thing. I wonder how much shame Colmes feels about being the weak oppositon attitude inoculation machine for the War Party.

If I was him, I’d kill myself.

Scott, there were the Nazi saboteurs who were designated “enemy combatants.” That’s where the precedence comes from, once again — the evil FDR — but Bush did expand and worsen it.

I should have wrote, ‘compared to the red carpet treatment that is usually laid out for Rove on fox, Colmes does a pretty good job’ , he does have porky pig squealing a little at the end.
