Scott,Hope you are well. Please stop referring to these people as Christians.  They are not fit to be called Christian. I am a Christian and it offends me to see these referred to as followers of Christ. They are heretics, lunatics and unknowingly followers of Satan the Devil. Lets call them waht they really are. One more thing, I just had to get a final shot in to Tom “Lemon” Curry over at MSNBC regarding election coverage:
    Dear Tom Curry,

Before I forget, I would to thank you for your diligence and hard work in helping to nominate 2 of the shittiest candidates in the history of US Presidential elections, Barack Obama and John McCain.

Your hatchet job, along with many others in your profession such as the late Tim Russert, on Ron Paul and his Revolution was extraordinary.  I hope you are all proud of yourselves as you have doomed this country to 4 more years of gross stupidity and total bankruptcy.

Please also make sure that you forget to mention Chuck Baldwin and Bob Barr as candidates, as they are 2 people who would actually try to make things better here.   You wouldn’t want that to happen now, would you ?

    Keep up the bad work.

    Yours sarcastically,

    Phil

Though it seems like you’re right to me, I don’t think I get to decide who’s a Christian. If someone is a self-professed believer, then I have to take that at face value. Well, not Robertson and Hagee, but the idiots in their flocks. If you want to call them heretics, that’s fine with me too.

I could care less if 10 billion people followed Hagee.  He’s still a minister of Satan and will be called to account, not only for his own transgressions, but for misleading so many people with his false teachings.   He has also been indirectly responsible for thousands of death by validating our Middle East policy including the deaths of thousands of Christians. Hey John Hagee, check out 2 Peter !!   You have met the enemy and he is YOU !!http://www.lavistachurchofchrist.org/LVSermons/FalseTeachersAndLyingProphets.htm

It would appear that Mr. Hagee is either a simple-minded fool or a conman. If the former, perhaps an extensive course in the following subjects would prove fruitful: Economics, history, logic, and philosophy. If Mr. Hagee is merely the latter then his pursuit of monetary gain has proven quite fruitful, however dishonest the acquisition of his gain has been.
It is almost amusing that the singer of the heavy metal/hard rock band “Disturbed,” David Draiman, is more knowledgeable on the subject of war, peace, and geopolitics than a supposed minister of God. Of course, Draiman appears to have obtained degrees in business administration, political science, and philosophy.
The acquisition of knowledge is achieved via logic, reason, and research as opposed to an alleged pipeline from God. This isn’t to suggest God does not exist, for I am a Christian as well, but rather utilizing the instrument that was given to human beings for the purposes of reason, the brain. Today’s brand of false Christianity however, appears to rely on emotionally-based thinking as opposed to logic-based thinking. In this sense, one could refer to the majority of modern evangelical Christianity (as well as other sects) as a drug, searching for an emotional high as opposed to attempting to find truth and fact.

Look to Will Grigg, Scott. He’s an exemplar of precisely what a Christian should be, in my opinion. It’s a crying shame that more of us (Christians) don’t follow his model. I’m trying… many don’t want to hear, though.

…Today’s brand of false Christianity however, appears to rely on emotionally-based thinking as opposed to logic-based thinking….Exactly.    It really isn’t Christianity, its heresy.  Christ’s Apostles didn’t act like this and when they did, He gently and firmly put them back in line. Hagee is a con-man and not a real Christian.   I really dislike him because he is an absolute embarassment and gives all the true Brethren a bad name.   I think his followers are a bunch of idiots.
